A word about booking rooms for 2012
The properties listed here have responded to our request for rooms to be "blocked" or set aside for the dates of the 2012 SSAA World Series. I want to explain about a "room block".
1. It has an expiration date...usually 2-3 weeks before the tourney.
2. You MUST mention SSAA Softball when booking your rooms to receive the special SSAA Rates quoted...it is not Automatic you MUST let the property know you are part of the SSAA Tourney
3. You will need to provide a credit card to hold your rooms
4. Get a confirmation number when you book your rooms
(very important to have this number!)
5. You can usually cancel your reservation before the tourney date if need arises
(ask your motel about their cancellation policy)
6. Not sure if you are actually going to Cookeville?....but pretty sure you are...my suggestion is go ahead and reserve your rooms...but remember the cancellation policy! If you do have to cancel...be sure and get a cancellation number! If you book and don't show you will be charged!
7. BOOK EARLY!
The Cookeville folks have worked on our behalf to get the rooms we needed
blocked, lets let them know we are coming in record numbers.... BOOK EARLY!
